Ya'll remember to bring your walkie-talkies. It's easier to communicate with them instead of phone calls. I'll have a spare if anyone needs one, and I'm sure some other folks will too. Will the guys who are meeting us in Memphis please let me know how many to expect?? We're planning on lunch at the Cajun Catfish Company restaurant and any of ya'll from the area can join the convoy there. I'll call the restaurant when we get close & let them know how many to expect so that they can be ready for us.http://maps.live.com/localsearch/details.aspx?lid=YN817x13942223&qt=yp&what=cajun+catfish+resturant&where=Memphis%2c+TN&s_cid=ansPhBkYp0211 days to blast-off!!BillL

Has anybody on list had experience with Phoenix Transmissions out of Texas. I hear they are excellent especially with 700R4's. Need some feedback to help out a friend trying to get good tranny for his Chevy.

I have one of their 4L80Es sitting in the garage in a crate. I went with them because I had read and heard how great they are. Lets hope that is true.

I don’t have any experiencewith them, but I have worked with DRC Performance Transmissions in Elk Grove,IL. Dean is the owner and is great. He installed my 700R4 with ashift kit and lock out converter. He also built my 355ci engine andinstalled a 3:55 posi rear end. His shop is more like a performance shopwith all the performance cars, and rails he has in there all the timerebuilding their engines, transmissions, rear ends, and rewiringeverything. If anyone is near the Midwest I would highly recommend thisshop. Two doors over is AES Performance Engines who build highperformance engines and ship all over the country.
