[Chevelle-list] removing filler neck from gas tank

I was wanting to say something in the lines of that but I decided to not listen to the voices in my head for once!!!

Well, not really; it's soldered to the tank, not welded. You could 
take a propane torch and heat the tank enough to break the solder 
joint and take it out like that. Before you do, please have someone 
there with a video camera so that if the tank blows up we can watch 
it on YouTube. :-D (Please Lord, make anyone who reads this 
understand that it's a joke.)
