[Chevelle-list] 1971 seat question

Hey guys quick question, were headrests optional on the 71 Chevelle or were they standard? I have a set of buckets from a mid 70s Pontiac that I was planning on putting in the 71 but I don't know if the new factory style covers will work on them or not. Thanks in advance.

  66 SS 396 (Black on the rotisseree, 1st car never part with it)
  66 SS 396 (Red got it on a trade I only wanted the steering wheel)
  87 Monte Carlo SS (The modern Chevelle especially when you add the right stuff)
  71 Malibu (Something new to blow my money on)
