It is relatively easy to connect the lockup. Some basic info is here:

search the Tranny Forum at chevelle tech, OnaBudget (Rob Mirabelle) posted
the most complete list of GM part numbers that you will need. It was a few
years back, but I'd bet the info is still there.
Its been almost 10 years since I converted mine. As I recall you change
1 solenoid in the tranny pan, move a couple of wires, and connect 12V & a
ground to the electrical connector on the side of the tranny. Optionally
you can add a vacumn switch on the 12V input to unlock so it will unlock
when you get on it.
You've probably heard it before, but TV cable adjustment is critical. The
tranny will not last 50 miles if it is not adjusted correctly.
