Welcome!! That really stinks!! I know what you mean about getting ripped off by people who say they know what they are doing. Before I was confident enough to do it myself (I own my own shop now) I paid a guy to paint my 66SS. Long story short I kicked myself everyday afterwards I picked it up for good, I wouldn't take it twice because he left filler, runs, and I believe he ran out of hardener for the clear and the trunk was just funky!! Like he sprayed straight out of the can!! I really hope you can get your money back from that scumbag and find someone who will do the job right!! I know how those 66's are thats my fav' I've had my black one since I was 15, I'm now 26 and I'll never for no amount of money part with that car, its been too good to me. From the sound of it you might want to get your car checked by a competent mechanic before you drive it much more. Good luck with everything and hope it all gets put back right!!
