Not to mention that NO MESSAGES GO OUT AT ALL if we exceed our daily quota. Thanks for not screwing up our list (in the future).

I was a member for a year they sent me some window wipe thing to test. I filed it 14. The mag is pretty good and informative, I just never renewed my membership, too many other things to worry about.Josh--- On Tue, 6/24/08, Dan Rachlin <rodie40 at gmail.com> wrote:

Yes I do belong. Have not become lifetime yet, but if I do, they will refund all previous dues paid. I have had my gas reimbursed a couple of times, (Has paid for membership) and had a couple of test products. One was a 'Rain x' type thing and other was a caulk gun thing. Both pretty cheap things. Never got more gas coupons after emailng twice and have yet to receive a third test product. Was good for a while then stopped? The mag is pretty good though.

When you bleed your brakes that button must be pressed in during bleeding operation and released when finished.

That proportioning valve looks exactly like the one I took out for the 4 wheel drum and does not have any button but the new one which mounts just below and to the right of the resivior is longer and has a button on the front. I will take a pic and send it . thanks, Jimmy .C

Does the prop valve look like this one: href="http://www.inlinetube.com/images/Prop%20Valves/pr106.jpg">http://www.inlinetube.com/images/Prop%20Valves/pr106.jpg that is the button on the left. My GM service manual (for 72) says that button needs to be pushed in when bleeding rear brakes. They have an explaination, but honestly its been so long that I can't remember the details. Something to do with the auto shut off of fluid (safety feature) if you get a leak at either the front or rear I think.

I converted from drum to disk up front with a kit from ground up (THE RIGHT STUFF product) and I cant get the original rear drums to bleed . is there something with the distrabution block that I was supposed to do ? I followed the directins as I understood them.I will call them tomorrow but am anxious, Jimmy.C

I had the same problem when I did my '71. It ended up that there was a build-up of rust behind the bleed valves on the rear drums. I was able to use a small wire to break the rust loose and bleed them as they should. Good luck.

i love the sound of the exhaust when it dumps before the rear end, but it kind of makes a black sooty mess underneath, is this corrosive at all? and what is the best way or kind of solution to wash it off??
