thanks to all that replied, I was just wondering if there are still any
402 blocks out of 70 Chevelles out there.

There is nothing wrong with the 396 I have except it's build a little
more radical then I want and I'm thinking azbout restoring my 1970 to
more stock.

A 396 is a 402 just bore it out 30 over on the rebuild.

Anybody now the availability of a 1970 402 block and heads. Look to
replace the 1969 396 in my 70 Chevelle SS.
