Formula I use is bore x bore x stroke x 0.7854 x #cylinders. A 454 +.060 is
468.

A 402 is a +.030 396. You can punch a 396 out to +.060 making it a 408.

Hi!

Is the 402 just a 396 with 0,30 over bore or is it a unique block?

The reason I'm asking is because I wonder wether a 396 can be bored more
than a 402

or if they have the same marigins?
