Wow, a little PB Blaster and it practically fell off!  I'm a PB fan now.

Sometimes you might need to squirt a little lube on the center to get it loose. I prefer PB Blaster, great stuff. Try twisting it as you are removing it but you might also have to resort giving it a few love taps with a rubber mallet.

Tonight I'm trying to remove the flexplate on the original 283 from my 1965 Chevelle.  The bolts are out but it doesn't come away easily.  Is there a suggested procedure for removal?  Does it require a puller?
