It should be fine, but more work than a 200R4.  You have to shorten the driveshaft and rework the transmission mount with the 700 because it is longer than the 350.  The 200R4 is the same size as the 350, but I don't know for sure about the mount. You can get a beefed up 200R4 that can take lots of power. I have the 700 in my Chevelle.Brad Waller (brad at epage.com)
