I'm not from California, but if you looked hard enough I bet the new car dealers and some other special interest groups are backing this.  Just an other piece of Socialist Trash legislation !!!!!!!!   Hope every gearhead and car enthusiast in the state sends their rep and the Gov. a long letter stating that this bill is discriminatory and just plain wrong !!!!  Wouldn't hurt to mobilize the California speed parts manufactures, car clubs, custom car builders, start petitions, ect.  Best of luck and keep us updated.
