Thanks, Dan. They were polished originally. I have sandblasted and scotch brited them. Do you have a site/number for Advanced? I live in KY so that would not be too far to investigate.

Aluminum is tricky to chrome in and of itself, and having all the recesses that a wheel does, would make it even more difficult.
 
That being said, with proper prep and expertise, a very nice result can be obtained.  But with that prep and expertise comes a price tag which might just make rechroming an un-economical choice.
 
If you do decide to get them done, you cannot go wrong with the quality of the work that comes out of Advanced Plating in Nashville TN.
