Ryan,  I measured my '69 and I got 75 inches at the rounded part of the doors.  Based on Dale's info it's probably 75.whatever it was.  The measurement between the front body mount holes under the firewall is 52 1/2.    
Don't know if the info from a '69 helps or not.

  My car is currently out of town so I cant just run to the garage and look so I have to look elsewhere.  I have been looking online and in my books and havent come across any info so here goes......

  I looked at Dales web pages but didnt see what I was looking for.  I'm sure its there somewhere but I was just looking in the wrong spot.

  I am looking for the distance between the body mount holes under the fire wall on a 68 malibu.  
  Also, how wide is the 68 at its widest point?  I know the doors are kinda rounded so I have to take that into consideration.
  How much does just the body (no front clip) weigh roughly?

  I know someone out there has this info in front of them so any help would be greatly appreciated!
