[Chevelle-list] Any exp with Clssic Car insurance...

I have been in the insurance debacle for awhile now. I purchased my
chevelle earlier this year and liked the rates of Hagerty. However, my
daily driver (2004 Colorado) is not insured under my name because it is
registered as a farm vehicle on my family's insurance policy. Thus
Hagerty would not cover me because I can not prove I have a daily driver.
So I'm using All-State because I have my house insurance with them. I pay
a ton of money for the chevelle's insurance because they also consider to
be a daily driver. I fail to see how it could be a daily driver because
it is missing a motor, but that's how it works.

Three members of my local VCCA chapter had significant claims with Hagerty
this year. All were impressed with their speed, cooperation,
understanding and service. Last night at a regular monthly meeting we had
a presentation by AAA for their classic auto insurance which caused this
to come to light.

lookingfor a 72 SS 350
Does any one here have experience good/bad/whatever with any of the
classic car insurance firms out there?
They appear to offer pretty good savings over regular Geico/Allstate/etc.
and include agreed value.
I am thinking of selling my 72 SS 350 ...[to a good home]
L48, Automatic, number matching, Mohave Gold/Tan, been mothballed since 98
Anyone interested?
