I have often heard that w/ patch panels vs. full panels whatever you  
spend in initial cost w/ a full panel is more than made up for when it  
comes to the additional labor and the final fit-and-finish.

I would also say that as long as you're going off-frame, you may as  
well go w/ the full one-piece pan.

The only catch is that sometimes the patch panels include more of the  
flange area...
