[Chevelle-list] Decode

Everyone,
I hate to abuse the power of the forum, but I'm trying to figure out what 
year engine my 71 chevelle has in it.  I've tried the forums but have 
turned up nothing.  "Elcamino" has been helpful, but we're still at a 
lose.  Here is a website with some pictures of the motor and number etched 
behind the alternator.
