[Chevelle-list] Engine noise!

Honestly! I don’t know!

I bought the car 2003 & didn’t notice anything then!

But in 2004 I started to hear this noise & since then it only got

worse until #8 practically stopped working.

 

I was a little bit surprised to find out that the lifters where mechanical!?

Anyway, I’m changing them to hyd flats, or rollers if I can raise the money?

 

The damage in #8 cylinder is probably due to an old water leak?

Could not find any signs of water leaks in the head gasket so I

guess they just ignored it when they changed the head gaskets.

OUCH!   How many miles, OOPS kilometers, does that cam have on it?
