Now I know what it was!
A worn down lobe on the cam (#8)
I removed the heads just to check and found out that #8 had problems.
I have to leave the block for some machining :-(
No driving this summer :-/

A sticky lifter could explain why it's running colder on #8!?
Maybe we're on to something here :-)

Sounds like either an exhaust leak or a sticky lifter to me. My $.02

Hi!
I have this strange noise during acceleration!
Sounds a little bit like a bolt tapping my M/T aluminum valve covers but a tad sharper!
No marks in the valve covers indicating that anything is hitting them!
I’ve tried to adjust timing back & forth 16-8 degrees but it’s still the same!
It’s in sync with the rpm & I can only hear it when accelerating hard!
Any ideas?
Pelle
