Joe,
  That is a very common piece. I believe it is the same for 68 - 72 Chevelles.  I've taken dents out of stainless trim that looked pretty bad in the past. It just takes some patience and time. Good luck.

  While polishing my chrome today on my 69 Chevelle, I accidentally pushed too hard and bent the trim piece on the top portion of the windshield. I am a very calm and patient person , but after damaging the molding, I was very upset. 
  Does anyone on the list have an extra one they would sell, or know where I can purchase one?
