Bob, I found a pressure side hose for my '70 at my local NAPA parts
place. The ends were bent like original. Mine is a '70 big block car
with stock location for the pump and stock exhaust manifolds though.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 71 SS Power steering pump brackets and
AmericanRacing Wheels.
OK Guys(and Gals) I'm new to all this. Jim Thompson e-mailed me back
about my power steering pump brackets and I appreciate the offer (He has
an extra pump and bracket. Thanks Jim!) After I e-mailed the original
dilemma, I contacted Alan Grove Components that following Monday.
Ordered the brackets I needed. $65.00 total. They arrived on Thursday, I
primed em, then painted them and bolted em up. Fit like a glove. Great
move. I.m good to go. As for some e-mails I'm reading about American
racing wheels - I have 8in on the rears and 7's on the front. I think we
figured out that there's about a 4.25 in back set or set back (whatever
it's called) and the rear tires just fit inside the quarters. (15 in.) I
also have em on my 1990 Chevy 4x4 and they have held up great. They need
to be wiped down and polished from time to time and not hard to do
either. They work for me. (all tires and wheels, mounted and balanced
with nitro was about $1,000. Thanks for the help and reading this
babling-on. Now I'm lookin for the pressure hose and return hose. I may
have found em thru NPD but i'ts close down there with the steering gear
box, pump, block, suspension and everything else. Has anyone recently
bought any power steering hoses? Bob
