The oil pan needs to be pulled as well as the rear main cap off the crankshaft. It's easier just to pull the engine out to do it instead of fighting with it on your back trying to get the oil pan off.

I've got an oil leak that appears to be from the main seal. How difficult is this to replace? What's involved in replacing the rear main? Looks like the transmission will have o come off at a minimum. Thanks.
