One of the drawbacks to a Quadrajet and Edelbrock style carb is fuel
bowl volume.  It is possible to drain the bowl in a high hp application
or limited fuel pump scenario.

i heard a Edelbrock carb has the tendency to lean out at higher rpms- i
have not personally proved this but it is what i heard.
