[Chevelle-list] fender question

I installed a 700 & never regretted it.   I've since learned that the 200 is
a simpler install but the 700 was NOT that difficult.   The most significant
difference is that the 700 is longer than a 350 or 200 so you will need to
shorten the drive shaft for the 700.      You will find that there is a
significant improvement in torque with a 350 over the 283.   I'd think (but
don't know for certain) that the 283 could be rebuilt for a lot less than
3500.
