[Chevelle-list] Part name?

Pelle, they made 2 versions. The hideaway went on the Malibu and the non-Malibu plain jane stopped on the windshield. There are also 2 different stainless pieces, at least on a 72. The larger one with the hideaway and the shorter that parked on the windshield. All the motors where the same. I think the parts the arms mount to are different as well, but it has been over 10 years since I switched mine over to the hideaway as my car was the basic Chevelle, non-Malibu. I have had 3 '72's. My $.02

Ahh! Yeah! That's the piece :-)

But my wipers are just partly hidden, they just
refuse to go all the

way down to "parked position". Could it be the
viper motor arm that's

to short (maybe it's from another
car?)

GroundUp calls it a windshield molding: http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=chevellecamino&Product_Code=KLM-3A&Category_Code
= This looks & is priced like the one for hidden
  wipers.

What is the stainless panel below the
    windshield called?

The one wipers rests upon when they're
    "parked"?

    Best
    regards
Pelle
