[Chevelle-list] 66 396 fule pump replacement

I have read my '66 Chevrolet Service Manual on fuel pump replacement - but still have questions as I have not replaced one on a BB before.  Looking for step by steps if someone has them and the do's and don't's.  Need to replace the current '67 stock pump with a stock 66 pump so my stock fuel line / pump elbow will work together.
