[Chevelle-list] Hyd. Lifters...

Hi Guys...Hope everyone had a good holiday!!!
I keep reading conflicting stories about soaking new lifters in oil for a few hours before installing them...Some say do it...some say you don't have too...i'm confused...Can anyone shed some light on this one for me????
