[Chevelle-list] First tire/wheel thread of the New Year!

John,

Check out this company: http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/

In the last year I've bought two sets of wheels and tires from these guys (I
dealt with Howard Cook). If you buy a set of wheels and tires, then
mounting, balancing, and shipping are free. Cruise through their web page
and maybe you'll find something that'll work for you.

Herb

That is a great explanation Dale. Luckily I understand all of that.
What I am really asking is whether or not there is a 15" wheel out there
that looks like the Centerline Autodrag or American Racing "Outlaw I" that
will fit a 1970 Chevelle and is economically priced.

It's too bad the American Racing wheels won't fit. There are two stores in
my neighborhood that are authorized dealers and that is the look I want and
a price I would like to pay, and I wouldn't have to have them shipped.

I guess if I were to change course I could go w/ the American Racing Ansen
Sprint (Series A69) wheels. They are available with the right bolt pattern
and zero offset. That's basically what I have on my El Camino though, so I
was looking for something different.
