[Chevelle-list] Bondo or Lead?

   I have two 69 Chevelles both with original quarters. One has lead (Kansas car) and the other has body filler (Atlanta car)

  Who knows when the factory stopped using Lead as their filler of choice?  Namely to fill the gap between the quarter panel and the roof panel.  

  Today I got the Chevelle sanded about 80% down to the metal, and both quarter panels are filled with bondo.  The right rear has been replaced, probably around 1981 or so - so I expected that one to be bondo.  The rear left was also filled with bondo.  Has that quarter been replaced also - or is that bondo most likely factory filler?
