[Chevelle-list] 67 vin #

Morning list,
I have buddy that's looking at a 67 SS that has a 136...... vin number,
it's a canadian car.
The car does come back that it was made at ST.Theresa but my books say
that it should be
A 138..... Number to be a super sport. Are my books correct? Is this a
malibu?
