[Chevelle-list] 1969 Malibu Sport Sedan w/Concours trim for sale

Dale,
You know as well as I that the cost of the panels is a drop in the bucket compared to the body work involved. I'm sure you'll find a buyer out there. Four doors are becoming more desirable as the 2 doors become more and more expensive. I did get a kick out of the mention of making it a hot rod :)

Good Luck,
  Trooper

I disagree that it's a 'rusted out 4 door'. I talked with Ausleys and they agree that the rear lower patch panels for a 69 will work ($55.00 each) and the lip patch panels ($52.00 each) would only require trimming on the front edge. So that's what, $214.00? Front fenders are the same as other 69s so one could fix or replace the left front as they saw fit. Car could easily be restored to original condition or hot rodded a bit with a crate 350 or 383 if one wanted more umph, 15-inch rally wheels, etc. Certainly not too many of them left on the road with only 2,022 Sport Sedans optioned with the Concours trim package.

The Sport Sedan is a little more upscale than the typical 4-dr Malibu/300 Deluxe post sedan. Concours interior is very good, new tires last week, 350-2 w/TH350 and 12-bolt rear that one can drive safely as work is done as desired. Anyway, I appreciate your opinion but others have expressed a more positive interest.

That's a bit steep for a rusted out 4 door. Just the repair on those quarters would cost a fortune with no replacements out there.

Car is also listed on craigslist, http://lawton.craigslist.org/car/402069358.html and Team Chevelle, http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=15348&cat=500, but maybe not everybody goes there.
