The Jakel fluoride cleaner works great removing any oxidation or residue,
and then you follow up with their wax, but the lug nuts are always fun! I
need to take the Weld wheels off to do it next time, other than the effort
of taking the wheels on and off.

I usually don;t drive too much in bad weather unless I get caught in it so I
am not sure-- I usually hit them once a year - and then use johnsons paste
wax over the top- but don;t let it dry its hard to get off!!
