[Chevelle-list] reupholster?

Hi!

A few Q:s

I'm in the progress of reupholstering the back seat.
Allt that is left of the old back seat is the bare metal base and springs, due to rats and mould!

Do I proceed like this
1. First I need a layer of fabric or jute to protect the foam against the springs I guess.
2. Then there's a layer of foam? How thick should the foam layer be?
Any more layers on top of the foam except the new cover?
3. Then I attach the hog rings!
