I guess you could use a proportioning valve to level out the brakes!?

The disc portion of a master cylinder will move a lot higher volume of fluid when you step on the brake. Compare the size of a wheel cylinder to a caliper. The caliper needs a lot more volume to work properly..
I don't know what problems you would have with a disc/drum M/C on a drum/drum vehicle. But I'd bet that the front wheels would lockup way too soon..

    Hi Everybody,

I have a rebuilt master cylinder and booster, which I was told is for a disc/drum combination. I have a 1970 GMC truck with non-power MC and drums all around.

Can I install this MC/booster setup on my truck? If not, can somebody explain to me what the differences are between a drum/drum MC and a disc/drum MC?

    Thanks!
