[Chevelle-list] 70 SS GRILLE

They were all silver, SS grilles were painted before installed on SS cars.  I've had a few NOS 1970 grilles, all have been silver.

  Did the SS grille for a 70 come new black or silver/gray from the factory? A friend has a nos 70 grille that is silver/gray and he says you have to paint it black, always been that way. Thats an awful lot of sanding edges and corners. Thanks, Les 70 396.
