66 distributors are cast iron and exposed areas above the block painted
satin black with an aluminum (not painted) band containing the model number
and production date.  Depending on particular the distributor model number,
there would be a daub of paint (or none, or 2 or 3 colors) on the housing to
identify it for assembly line worker.
