[Chevelle-list] flowmasters?+Cut outs

Jimmy-  I can pull my manual, old fashioned caps in less than 5 minutes….The
modern fancy electric ones are great for making noise at a stoplight, but no
better for going fast.  I’ll put the $300 price into the go-fast fund.

Since we're on the topic of exhausts . I've been eyeballin Dougs electric
cut-outs and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with them or other
cut-out systems . I have a pypes 3'' X- pipe system with dumps and was
thinking about adding electric dumps,but they look kind of bulky for under
car placment. Like to hear what you Guys think. Jimmy C.

on my 70 BB I installed the Flowmaster thunder kit 2 1/2..2 chamber
40's...with SS tips all the back...nice raunchy sound at idle or WOT...bit
of a droan at 2000 rpm...excellent fit and construction
