[Chevelle-list] Spark Plug Wire type

Is there an easy way to determine a spark plug wire type?  I will be installing a Pertronix electronic ignition soon and it said not to use with solid spark plug wires.  The set on the car was installed by a previous owner and printed on them is Belden High Temperature 7mm.
