Well gang,
I'm pleased to say that my issue with my '66 WAS in
fact the torque converter loose bolt/missing bolt
problem! I got the car out on Saturday and took her
for a spin after having replaced a missing bolt going
from the TC to the flywheel, and tightening the
others.. I ran for a good 10 miles at 2K RPMs, and no
more chatter. Thank you guys so much, as this will
probably save me $40 annually in excedrin.
The only downfall now is, I now hear the other chirps
and creaks in the car that need to be evaluated 8^]
Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!
Jim
