I'm running a Holley Commander 950 Pro system on my El Camino.  Pics and

You can expect an increase in driveability, throttle response, and a cleaner 
running engine.  Whether or not you'll see an increase in fuel mileage will 
depend on how rich your carb is running at cruise.  For example, my Holley 
950HP ran pig rich at cruise.  Anywhere from 11.0 to 12.5!  However, my 
Holley 3310 (750 Vac sec.)  ran right at 14.5-15.0.  I got the same mileage 
with the 3310 as I do with EFI, 15-17mph.  However, the 950HP never did 
better than 12.  Large cams really kill your fuel mileage.
