[Chevelle-list] Tire pressure?

Larry-  I based my reply on my experience, I'm not aware of a given ratio.  With his tire combination I would run less pressure in the rear because my car's a Camino, but as it is now with 225/75/15s all around on 6" rims I run 34 in front and 30 in the rear.  Keep in mind I do no hauling though.  If I did I'd probably run more like 40 in the rear since I have a bad habit of overloading trucks.  I run these for cruising and running back and forth to the dragstrip.  At the strip I put 40 in the fronts and run 12 in the slicks.  All depends on the situation.

  I'm just wondering? What would be the ideal ratio front to back? Or would it matter what your reasons would be besides the obvious ?
