[Chevelle-list] Lifters? (digging deeper)

The adventure continues ;-)

I’m in the beginning of research so I can fix whatever is wrong with #8
cylinder.

 

My first Q’s are!

1.      Are the lifters in a 1971 402 BB mechanical or hydraulic?

2.      What’s preferred?

3.      Can they be changed to what’s preferred?

4.      Do I have to change the cam if I change the lifters?
