The database is in the members only area; don't think a non-member can do a
search. You might send the VIN to a member offline and have them look there
for you. I have a section on my Chevellestuff.com site for orphaned
paperwork looking for the current owner. See
http://www.chevellestuff.com/misc/orphaned_paperwork.htm or

FYI.....

Hello,

This may be a needle in a haystack thing but here it goes. I
recently came across some paperwork for a 67 Chevelle I had in the mid 80's.
It is the original paperwork for the car (retail order) I was hoping by
chance maybe someone in your club may know if the car is still in Indiana
and maybe a slight chance they know who has it. I sold the car in 85 or 86 I
lived in Huntington IN at the time , the gentleman who purchased the car
lived in Anderson IN and I think had the last name of Wolfe (not sure about
that) The Chevelle is a little rare because it was a Malibu with a 283 and
a factory 4 speed , the car also had factory buckets with a console and the
clock . It was red with a black top and interior and the car was nice at
that time. I do have the VIN number and I thought the owner would like to
have this paperwork.........plus it was one of my favorite cars and I would
like to have it back if possible. Any help or suggestion I would be more
than happy to listen too.

Thanks Dennis
