David,
It sounds like they may have installed the wrong springs. 320 lb springs are not real heavy but if the springs are one or two inches longer than stock they may never settle to a height you would like. You can always cut a coil off to adjust the ride height, just don't use a torch to do it. I like Hotchkis 1" lower than stock springs all around. They set the car real nice but are very stiff.

I loosened the upper control arm nuts and bounced the front end and then retightened the nuts. It didn't make any difference. The car was a gift to me and was restored by a local shop so I'm not really sure if the bushings were lubed or not. The springs they installed are 320lb/in Elgins and I can't find any info on them anywhere.I have had the car about 3 months since the new springs were installed although I have not driven it but about 300 miles.
