TJ, Which one's had no bolts? On a coupe there were only 5 used per side. Convertibles use more bolts and a boxed frame. On the coupe there is one under the firewall, one under the front seat area, one above the rearend, one right behind the inner wheel well and one at the very rear of the frame. Do you have less than ten total mounting bolts?

Not that I have a question, just a holy s$#t comment.
Just thought I would let you all know what I discovered in the garage last night.

I finally got the Chevelle up in the air yesterday to WD-40 down the body mounts in preparation for the disassembly late December – and discovered that half the body mounts are not there. Nope – no typo – I am missing two body mounts on the passenger side, and two on the drivers side. I look up in the frame where the bolt should be, and I am looking straight into an open hole in the body. How uncommon is this? The car was a daily driver when I parked it in 1997, and has been a project since I resurrected it about 4 months ago. Body mounts were not something I was ever concerned about – and I have NEVER checked them in the past 25 years.
At least that is lessening the possibility that the body mounts are rusted solid – if they are falling out on the road. It is a lifetime California car, so who knows? Might be an easier disassembly then I thought
. (that is my glass half-full approach to this
