A guy who buys and sells at auctions told me about 6 months ago, as long as I was doing the frame off on my '69, I should do a Yenko replica. They always bring more oney. He bought one in NY and auctioned it off in Fla. that brought $50k +.
Got me thinking, because I'll never get close to my money out of my Malibu.
My excuse is, mine is a labor of love.

It does look very nice, but the only piece that seems out of place in this "nicest" Yenko replica is the cheap exhaust. It looks to me like a job by the local muffler shop, and a few years ago by the looks of those clamps and Flowmasters. For a car that is supposed to be that great, I would have expected the mufflers to be lines up flat and cleanly, and maybe even be stainless or at least cleaner.
The car may be perfect otherwise, or perhaps there are other hidden shortcuts and the exhaust system is just the clue.
I personally would not buy it because it is too clean. I want a car I can drive and not care if I mess up some original marking or sticker. If I saw it a show, I would admire it as it does look great.

I don't know a thing about it, just found it on the web.
But I would be interested to find out what everyone thinks of the car.....
