Ryan- Mine is a bit worn and I did some checking into it recently and found
that no parts were available. I had several places tell me that my only
option is to replace the unit. I may shim mine up and calling it good
enough. There's really no way to tell if it's any good while it's on the
bench.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Carrier Rebuild?

I recently purchased a used posi carrier. It seems that all the guts are in
good shape. However, before I install it in the rearend I was wondering if
there was some sort of a test I could do on it to check the clutches etc....
right now it is just the carrier no ring gear or anything on it. Any advice
would be appreciated

Ryan
